Obamacare should learn from ASPCA Pet Insurance
I purchased pet insurance for my adopted Chinese Shar-pei and boxer mix (I know for sure who he is since have his DNA tested, don't know his exact age, though, but guessing around 3 y.o.). Pet insurance was for me a piece of mind since I did not know anything about my dog health, history, etc.Every claim I had submitted wase approved very fast and reasonably. Once when my baby (yes, even 84 lb can be a baby) fell from the stairs ( I forgot to tell you he is a little bit of clumsy) and was limping for two days, I took him to the vet to have his leg x-rayed and treated. It was just a sprain, but the vet prescribed anti-inflammation medication for 10 days. I was really surprised when after one week my claim was approved and I received a call from the ASPCA insurance staff member asking how's Trai limping and if he is feeling better. I wish somebody from my health insurance will ever call me and just out of courtesy ask me how is my leg after series of procedures I had.
Anyway, I am very grateful to ASPCA for everything what they are doing for animals.
