Always good service but need higher caps on payments

The customer service from ASPCA pet health insurance is first-rate, and this insurance has been a godsend, as I have 3 cats, and they have had many ailments over the years; however, even though I have continuous care polciy, 2 of them have capped out on certain ongoing problems, and I can no longer receive any reimbursement for those particular problems. The caps need to be much higher because, animals, like humans, often have ongoing medical conditions that continue to need treatment, and a $3000 lifetime cap on a major illness is way too low, particularly when an animal has required treatment for that same condition for several years. I have always paid my premiums on time and in good faith but am beginning to wonder if I should continue to carry coverage if I cannot get more financial help when it is needed.

ASPCA insurance is always very pleasant…

ASPCA insurance is always very pleasant and willing to help. As for the insurance I feel they are very fair in what they will cover and not cover which they give you an explanation.

As your dog ages, you NEED insurance!

This insurance provides that little cushion that gives you more peace of mind when your vet bill is more than you expected. When my dog was six, he was diagnosed with a very serious autoimmune disease that required months and months of treatment. Then, a year and a half later, he was diagnosed with diabetes which requires weekly visits and blood tests for the first few months. This insurance allowed me to pay a reasonable monthly rate while expecting at least SOMETHING back from my vet bills. I do everything online which makes submitting claims super easy. I definitely recommend this to people with pets, especially as your dog/cat gets older and unexpected ailments begin to pop up.
