Great pet insurance!

Unfortunately, I didn't have this insurance long as my dog passed away, however, that being said I had no issues with any of my claims and everyone was so sympathetic when he passed. I had emailed b/c I couldn't bring myself to call as I knew I would cry. They replied with condolences, left me a voicemail, and sent me a card. I had switched from a previous insurer as their rates had gone up so much, they had a per incident deductible and I was frustrated with them. I wish I had found ASPCA much sooner! I do still have the insurance for our cat and have recommended it to others.

I could not be more pleased with the…

I could not be more pleased with the service and support that I have received. I purchased the insurance for my 5 year old mixed breed, never expecting to have to use it a year later! Everything I have submitted has gone smoothly, is understandable and nicely broken down in a benefit review. I am very pleased with the ASPCA insurance.

ASPCA covers exactly waht they say. I have 6 FCR dogs, ASPCA has covered everything I expected . I would recommend highly

I have 6 Flatcoated retrievers. I had three that needed emergency car within a one year time period. ASPCA treated each independently. ASPCA was prompt within their 2-4 week time frame in processing my claims as per their contract. My policy has been perfectly covered by each dog exactly as the contract states. I would highly recommend this insurance company for dogs. Some of my bills exceeded my policy limit yet ASPCA covered exactly to the limit.

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee. Accident-Only coverage available.
