Great Insurance!

We've had an insurance policy for our dog since she was 12 weeks old and at around 1 year, she started having digestion and skin allergy issues. Having ASPCA pet insurance has put our minds at ease about worrying how we would pay for treatments and emergency vet visits. The claim submission process is super easy on the app and the customer service is always amazing!

To honest it is pretty good insurance

To honest it is pretty good insurance. I wish things like heart worm medication and other stuff the dogs were covered. Other than that most things are covered.

ASPCA saved our dog

Our dogger had a really bad and recurrent bladder/intestinal infection. The bills were adding up and quick; over 6mos the total hovered somewhere around $5,000. I’m not sure how we would’ve handled that without ASPCA. After meeting our $250 deductible, our out of pocket was around $500. (So total $750 vs $5,000) Claims took 2-3wks to reimburse, which I felt was a reasonable amount of time. I didn’t have to consider our finances (as much) when deciding on a treatment plan. I was able to make the best decisions for my dogger (that’s a play on dog and daughter in case you’re wondering). I can not recommend ASPCA enough. It baffles me when people DON’T have it! Get it BEFORE you need it. Get it as soon as you adopt, purchase (ugh), inherit, etc. *If you can’t afford ASPCA insurance, you can’t afford the out-of-pocket care either. In other words, you can’t afford to NOT have ASPCA pet insurance.

I had to get a supervisor involved to…

I had to get a supervisor involved to stop the cycle of Deny and Delay which is a technique Insurance companies use to not pay their portion. I wonder what would happen if I didn't have the Education in the Insurance business to call them on their game and make them pay what they should. I would not recommend this or 2 of the other (Pet Plan and Healthy Paws) Pet Insurances I have tried. Pet Plan was very dishonest. They didn't tell me until they pulled money off my credit card, that the dog had to have a new exam within 2 weeks though he just had his annual exam. By that time I was on the way to California and the dog was in Florida with my brother. I called them they not only refused to cancel it as it wasn't even in effect for two weeks, they pulled an extra month. Discover Card rectified the situation. The game is always the same Deny and Delay hoping the less educated and persistent consumer will give up. The ASPCA supervisor is wonderful. The people that answer the phone are very pleasant. It is the ASPCA Claims department that is not to be trusted.
