So pleased with this insurance!

Our 1.5 year old pup was diagnosed with double elbow dysplasia :( She has to have surgery on her right elbow and then stem cell therapy to regenerate the cartilage. I thought for sure that when I submitted the claims ASPCA would find all kinds of things not to cover. I was happily wrong! No questions asked, they covered 90% after my deductible! The same goes for the estimate for her surgery and follow up therapy! I would not be able to afford the surgery and therapy if ASPCA didn't cover it. I am so grateful they are so good and that I chose them! The process has been so easy! Thank you ASPCA!

Peace of mind for your pet

We are so happy we got pet insurance for our 13 year old cat Jake. Of course there were years with no claims. But then so many health issues all at once. ASPCA was great with service and claims. The peace of mind of being able to make sure our kitty was taken care of without worrying about the cost was such a blessing. Thank you.

Wonderful Customer Service with Competitive Rates. Claims processing is easy. Claims reimbursement is relatively quick (2 - 3 weeks). Customer Service Reps are always friendly, knowledgable and willing to find what's best for your pet.

Very kind and helpful staff

Very kind and helpful staff. They figured out which would be the best type of insurance for my cat. It's pretty confusing as there are so many options. they always reimburse promptly and even call after big 'event' to inquire of the pet's health and mood! Most impressive!

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). Rates vary based on species, age, breed, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. ASPCA Pet Health Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee. Accident-Only coverage available.
