3 pets with AKC Insurance - and they never fail me!!

I have been with AKC Pet Insurance since 2008- they have insured many of my dogs for years. I would never consider changing to another carrier. They always have my pets best interest at heart. They really hire the best people ~ when you call in they are attentive and caring. They make suggestions and never get upset with the amount of questions you might have. Always a great experience. AKC Insurance you have my business for life.

AKC Pet Insurance is truly the best pet…

AKC Pet Insurance is truly the best pet insurance around. They care about your pets. They issue reimbursements on claims quickly, and are always able to answer questions. The customer service staff is always super friendly and kind. I just lost my English bulldog, and when I called to let AKC know, they were very empathetic, advised me to take my time submitting medical claim forms and invoices, and sent a very lovely card with hand written sentiments from the staff. I used them for twelve years with my other bully, and will always use AKC for pet insurance.

Monthly Cost

$5 – $90 depending on coverage options chosen.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 20% after your annual deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Per incident limit of $1,500 – $8,000 and annual limits of $3,000 – $16,000 depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

Choose from $100 – $1,000 annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll with no upper age limit. Coverage options available for senior pets.

Waiting Period

Coverage goes into effect one day after enrollment. There is a 5-day wait period for accident claims and 14-day wait period for illness claims. AKC Pet Insurance provides 30 days of accident and illness insurance coverage included with AKC registration for newly registered puppies.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Customizable plans allow you to add-on coverage for inherited and congenital conditions, exam fees and wellness care. Cancer coverage included in base accident and illness plan.
