Seems kind of unnecessary that for pet insurance both my name and my husband's name needs to be listed on the account. I needed to give an updated credit card for my monthly billing and I couldn't give it until my husband wrote an email and authorized me

Anytime I contact PetPartners the pet insurance specialists are all extremely helpful, and very pleasant! I am a Director of a Business Services Department and I expect outstanding customer service from my staff.

It was discussed that I need to submit...

It was discussed that I need to submit a claim before we can access whether this incident will be considered part of our original UTI issues. I plan to submit the claim asap. The woman I spoke with was terrific.

Monthly Cost

$5 – $90 depending on coverage options chosen.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 20% after your annual deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Per incident limit of $1,500 – $8,000 and annual limits of $3,000 – $16,000 depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

Choose from $100 – $1,000 annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll with no upper age limit. Coverage options available for senior pets.

Waiting Period

Coverage goes into effect one day after enrollment. There is a 5-day wait period for accident claims and 14-day wait period for illness claims. AKC Pet Insurance provides 30 days of accident and illness insurance coverage included with AKC registration for newly registered puppies.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Customizable plans allow you to add-on coverage for inherited and congenital conditions, exam fees and wellness care. Cancer coverage included in base accident and illness plan.
