I like the fact that you can call up at any time with a question that is answered promptly. All my claims have been prompt as well.

Your rep was knowledgeable...
Your rep was knowledgeable, courteous, and had a pleasant, natural voice and manner. Did not at all sound as though he was reading from a manual, as many do at other companies, and quite clearly was not located somewhere in Southeast Asia. This was refreshing

Great job! The only reason a follow up...
Great job! The only reason a follow up is required is because I need to change the credit card back after payment is taken. The agent did a nice job and made me feel confident that all is okay. What a relief!

All of my questions were answered. The knowledge base she had was excellent. She sounded so happy with the product it was easy for her to sell. I am also excited I enrolled my baby Thank you
Monthly Cost
$5 – $90 depending on coverage options chosen.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 20% after your annual deductible.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Per incident limit of $1,500 – $8,000 and annual limits of $3,000 – $16,000 depending on your chosen plan.
Deductible
Choose from $100 – $1,000 annual deductible.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll with no upper age limit. Coverage options available for senior pets.
Waiting Period
Coverage goes into effect one day after enrollment. There is a 5-day wait period for accident claims and 14-day wait period for illness claims.
AKC Pet Insurance provides 30 days of accident and illness insurance coverage included with AKC registration for newly registered puppies.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Customizable plans allow you to add-on coverage for inherited and congenital conditions, exam fees and wellness care.
Cancer coverage included in base accident and illness plan.
