AKC | Pet Insurance Review

Our dachshund has had AKC pet insurance since she was 4 months old. She is now 14 years 8 months old. I have been pleased with this coverage. I feel comfortable knowing we can provide her with excellent care, especially since she is getting older. AKC pet insurance has been there for us as well as our Veterinarians. With everyone’s help she is still enjoying a high quality of life.

I've had nothing but excellent experiences with this Ins. My Westie is 1 1/2 yrs old and seems to get into everything. I've used the ins. often. The break down of what is allowed is easy to understand. Checks are reimbursed very quickly. I do think this ins. is a bit more expensive than some of the competition.

I had AKC Pet Health Insurance on my dog Henley from the time he was a puppy (12 weeks old) to the day he passed away at nearly 14 years old. AKC is an amazing company to work with. Whenever I needed to speak to a representative, every time I would call, the person on the other end of the line was helpful, patient and extremely empathetic. I LOVE this company. I cried when I had to cancel the policy due to Henley's passing. I will definitely have insurance with them in the future for other dogs that I will own in my lifetime. I can honestly say, AKC pet insurance is a must-have for dog lovers everywhere, well worth the money and the peace of mind you have knowing that you have your family member covered when they need medical assistance. Also, at the end of my time with this policy, they had started covering holistic treatments as well. Which was helpful because my veterinarian was using acupuncture on Henley, weekly, for the last 6 months of his life.
