I called Sunday and talked to the sweetest lady and she told me to come in Monday anytime for my cat to be seen. I went in Monday and was not greeted just stared at. Finally after alot of awkward silence I smiled and said I need to have my cat seen and they were immediately rude. They said our Dr's leave at 10, do you not have a Dr for your cat? We aren't taking new patients try to find somewhere else to go. That's basically the help and kindness I got. Unfortunately my vet was not open at the time.

In 2021, my friends and I were on a road trip and we came across a cat in the country side of Ohio. She needed immediate medical attention and after trying a different pet hospital nearby and being turned away we came here. I think her name was Shirley and she only worked the front desk, but she picked up the phone and helped us the moment we arrived. She picked off all the cat's fleas, identified her as a spayed female, and kept calling her "child" which we found very endearing. One year later and that cat we found is still with us and in much better condition. We couldn't have rescued her without the help of Southwood Animal Hospital!

Best vet around been there for many years. Dr Sullivan is great with the animals and explains everything in detail and best prices compared to any other vet. Also love his staff, great with all animals super friendly and just wonderful staff. Really love Shirley she is an angel with your pets and so pleasant to talk to and every animal picks up on her kind spirit. Goes above and beyond for her pets she takes care of . They deserve a 10 star rating.
