My rating is -5 stars. Avoid at all cost. This facility did more damage than treatment to my cat. My cat went in with a lily poisoning and she came out with a wound in her paw. An emergency hospital should foster a healing environment but this is not the case. Part of my cat's "treatment plan" is to administer IV fluids continuously for 48 hours, non stop. The animal needs to eliminate the toxins through urine, and if it's not urinating, it's not going to heal. My cat was so stressed and traumatized that she spent over 12 hours without urinating. They used a catheter to make her pee and gave her sedatives to calm her down. On the last day of hospitalization, the cat bolted out of someone's arms and her nail got caught on the kennel and ripped off. Now my cat is in pain because she is missing a nail. The vet techs recommended me to get her a cone. Guess what? They won't pay to treat the damage that they did to my cat. Why would I have to pay to treat an injury that I wasn't involved in? Yes, my cat decided to bolt and injured itself, and I am her owner, but the injury is a result of negligence and lack of care and education. This drama could have been very easily prevented if the environment was fear free, if the staff were better trained at handling animals, and if the facility is cat-proofed to prevent accidental injuries. I did not expect an animal emergency hospital to be such a stressful environment for any animal. The receipt is not clear enough. They asked for more money when I was picking up my cat but did not clearly explain why. I can't tell if I was charged for the extra sedatives and catheter. The vet techs themselves are uncertain. I have been calling to reach a manager or supervisor and I've been ignored. Bad medicine, unethical business, poor education. This hospital should not exist.

Got there and they were nice enough to check my dog and tall me that it wasn’t really en emergency. They took the time to check my dog and provided unbiased guidance. They gave me the option of taking care of her there, but reassured me that it wasn’t that critical and that I could take her to urgent care or my regular vet the next day. Although I didn’t really used their services, this was very telling to me about how professional they are and that they care.

I just got home from taking my Border Collie, Finnegan in because his toe nail somehow partially ripped off. I called at least 5 places but everywhere either wasn’t taking emergency cases, had a wait of 8 hours or more or were all booked up. When I called AEHR, the guy who answered was very polite and informative. He said if we come asap we would most likely get in right away. He suggested I fill out a form beforehand to make things go faster. I definitely did that and we did get in right away! I didn’t wait long before the Vet called and informed me what they did. She was also very informative and even commented on my pups temperament saying he is very sweet and beautifully behaved. (Finn can be shy so that was a testament towards how they treated him!) After we hung up, I got a follow up call explaining the medication they recommend and the charges. I was told in my first interaction that I would need to pay an emergency fee of $150 so I was prepared. I really appreciated the warning! Overall this place was great and I would recommend it to anyone who needs help with a pet right away!

I took my doggo here not too long ago. Great service and team. They're exceptionally responsive, compassionate and attentive. My doggo's temp went up 1-2º after I had taken him to a Urgent care. He had lethargy, lack of eating, and was intermittently moderately shaking. Outlook was not looking great prior to taking him here... But luckily they were able to diagnose and provide me with options on the condition and solution. They treated the problem, gave some potential reasons on what caused the condition. Since then I've been able to isolate the probable cause and he's doing great since. During the whole endeavor I had many questions that they happily answered each as best as they could. Thanks for that!

Our dog, Jack managed to get a puncture wound in his leg of course on a Sunday afternoon. He was bleeding a lot, managed to do a field repair with superglue that reduced it to a trickle. The cut was in an awkward place by the back of his rear foot - we knew it needed more attention to stop it reopening and get it cleaned. We called around - a couple of places were closed or full - getting ER pet-care is hard on the weekends. We were lucky that AEHR had availability. The staff were awesome and got him looked over in
