How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Double Arrow Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Walker is a great vet. She is patient with us humans and treats the animals like they are hers. We have been using Double Arrow for years and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. She listens to our concerns and suggests the best course of treatment. If you are looking for a fair vet, this is a great place.

Every person I encountered at Double Arrow Veterinary, including, office employees, Dr's assistant and Dr. Were just great. Calm environment, reasonably priced with caring staff. My nervous dog left happy with a belly full of treats.

Went to this clinic before new owners and after new owners for about 35 or 40ish years. Vets are great. But now can never get in. Even for an emergency saying booked out a month. Know busy with limited vets but would think would treat the clientele better that kept it going for them to have clientele like they do with referrals. Even if had clientele of own before moved there give people something for being with a business that long. Even would have paid for emergency visit fee. So disappointed in the way it is run now. If don't mind waiting even if emergency like I said vets are great. But lack of care for being loyal isn't there anymore sadly.... compassion for animals in pain and trying to help get them in doesn't happen anymore.

We had the BEST experience at this Vet... they were on time- extremely friendly and knowledgeable about what to do with our pet. I will definitely be back for routine care for our dog.

So far so good lol! Front desk staff are lovely and the vet we've seen is kind and has explained things well. Prices are fair for the area I would say.
