How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Linden Heights Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I took 2 kittens there yesterday for a check-up. My new babies are only 6 weeks old. The new owner was the vet I got to see. He examined my babies very carefully and as I requested he took blood to test them for feline leukemia. They wanted to wiggles and squirm but he was very gentle with them and gave each treats after their exam. I miss Dr. Green. I was use to her. The new vet I saw yesterday is awesome.

He is the best doctor I have ever had for my pets. I have 2 German Shepherds and a Siberian cat and he is always on top of everything they need. He even called me to see how one of my shepherds was doing after successfully treating her for a skin allergy. THE BEST

Honestly, this staff has been amazing at helping take care of our beloved Pomeranian Max. Max had struggled with dental issues and a kidney stone. Drs. Ward and Thibodeau both saw him for appts, at times spoke after-hours to us to help manage his care, responded to requests for assistance, helped support a surgery we pursued at a less expensive nonprofit hospital, and identified and helped us correct an issue with another vet when it arose. Also shout-out to Debra at the front desk for helping with all our appointments, leave messages for the vet, and grateful for everyone here for the support they gave our pet. This is a good place. Definitely worth it.
