How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Colony Animal Hospital
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Horrible customer service. Front desk lady is rude and talks over you the entire time. She has little to no answers. Vet tech was a bit nicer but front desk interrupted her as well. Called mid day as the vet tech instructed me to and was informed the vet was out of office for hours and was immediately told not to call it would upset the vet. They held my sick cat from 9a to 4p for no treatment. Scroll thru the reviews for similar issues with the front desk! They couldnt even wipe the goopy eye. The entire experience was horrible. Never met the vet. Will never recommend or return.

Took my cat Lillie to get her shots, an exam, her nails clipped and her butt shaved because she is a long hair cat. They were very compassionate with her because she was very aggressive. Highly recommend!

Our previous vet was not providing the level of care we needed. A friend recommended Colony. Immediately walking into the office, I knew this was our new vet to care for our dog. The place is clean and the staff immediately greet you warmly. We received quality care. They listened to our concerns and thoroughly explained next steps. If you are on the search for a new vet, check out Colony.

Since we added onto our family about three years ago, with the addition of Lilly and Leila, we have been visiting Dr. Deborah and her team. Lilly had a right femur fracture at two months old which required surgery and Leila had several hypoglycemic episodes which needed close monitoring and regulating. The clinic did an amazing job on providing the essential care for our girls and treated them like the family members they are to us! We adopted Zuli almost two years ago and didn’t think twice to take her to have her vaccinations and exams at Colony Animal Hospital. All of our girls have been able to live healthy lives thanks to the team at Colony. Zuli will be getting spade this Spring and we couldn’t be more confident in the capable hands of the clinic staff. They’re not our pets, they’re family, and they treat them as such! Definitely recommend!
