This was the first time using Crab Orchard and I was so happy with the experience! We recently moved and had to change vet offices, so I was a little nervous about it. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. They loved on our old girl just like we do and I couldn’t be happier!

My two dashunds Marcie & Macie are new patients here! Both recently had well checkups & updated their vaccines! While I was away for the week this veteran office even called me to update on a little allergy issue Marcie has! Very impressed with the care & love shown to my puppers! Wonderful experience on the vet side! Both my girls were boarded there from July 27 ~ August 6th. Lisa Hess was so wonderful…she even sent me pics throughout their stay! When I picked the girls up they both came out of the kennel area with happy demeanor’s & wagging tails! Happy & well cared for by the entire staff! Thanks to everyone for a great experience! Definitely recommend!

Dr Gwen and her assistant was amazing, our animals are amazing but anxious, so they came to our home and even though the cat escaped while dr Gwen was checking out and administering their shots. They waited while we tried to convince Nosey it wasn’t really that bad the dogs were just exaggerating. Dr Gwen is a very intelligent, friendly, kind, compassionate Vet, with extremely wonderful attitude and great looks to match her beautiful soul! both were a pleasure to talk with, our furry kids and our family are thankful we have such an amazing Dr locally for their medical needs. Btw don’t let her petite size and good looks give you any doubts, she is fearless and very quick, after almost being bit and drawing back a bloody nub twice, she never receded from the task, she went from stranger to Fiona’s friend b4 it was over. (That was a first, Btw Fiona sends her apologies for her manners Dr Gwen, she said it was the brown uniform that initially caused the hair on her back to stand, she absolutely hates UPS men and their brown outfits she always has 🤷🏻 I have NP in highly recommending Crab Orchard, I have always found their entire staff to be wonderful but must admit that this was the first time in 15 years that neither Whitey Ford or Fiona received shots and wasn’t hurt and/or traumatized by the injections and experience. She has Very gentle hands with her patients, but very quick hands (Fiona put her feet to the fire) she was extremely gentle with those big needles, I honestly don’t think either knew they had received the injections, her kindness, ability to calm and care for my owners/trainers cannot be overstated, she is a true animal lover, wad the Best Vet I ever interacted with!

I can't even say enough good things about this place. We recently moved to town, and sadly are 15-year-old dog Harley lost the ability to walk, refused eating or water because she was dying from old age. I have never felt more comforted, and I feel blessed beyond belief that we found this place. The staff here is extremely friendly, and they gave us much comfort for our grief. They were sweet enough to make us a paw print of our baby, and a coffin for us to take her home so we could bury her on our property. The fact that they did these couple of things at no extra cost blew my mind. During the process both the staff members could see that we were struggling, and they both told her how beautiful she was and how loved she was. I'm so thankful for that, because my roommate was getting choked up for words and as soon as she realized they were giving her love It gave her the strength to tell her she loved her too. Hands down this is the best vet I have ever visited, and we will definitely bring all our other babies here for there check-ups and any other veterinary needs we have for our cats or dogs. I wanna thank all the staff again for everything, we couldn't have asked for a more peaceful experience.

The front desk lady was amazing! They got me in as quickly as possible to take care of my pet, and treated us like family! They even came out to my vehicle to speak with me as I have a toddler which really made the situation so much better! Thank you for saving our Phoebe’s life!
