My daughter's dog decided he liked toddler socks and green black walnuts. Both bad for the digestive tract and intestines, causing a blockage. I took him to this animal vet and by x-rays they were able to give us a great plan that was not rushing into surgery. The next day the dog went back to the vet and was clear. Brownie points for me so I'm taking my own dog to them tomorrow for a growth.

Dr. Cather is an exceptional veterinarian, always providing detailed, precise, and accurate explanations of any conditions my dogs may have. He also makes sure I'm doing my best for my dogs in their home environment, something that is very important to me. The staff and vets at AMC are extremely compassionate about the work they do with pets. They are always courteous and prompt. When my dogs are excited to go see their doctor, that is really all I need to know - and it tells me everything.

We recently transferred all three of our dogs to this facility and I'm so glad we did. For my most recent appointment I accidentally scheduled the appt for the other vet in Stephens City and they were nice enough to fit us in. They were wonderful for each appointment. Happy I found a vet I feel comfortable going to that doesn't just try to sell us on things not necessary. Highly recommend.

Animal Medical Center of Frederick County went above and beyond for our dog, making availability for her to have surgery months earlier and at a more affordable price than any other vet clinic we tried in the area. Dr. Welsch's kind and caring approach made us stay on with the clinic where we have gotten excellent care always.

We arrived on-time for a first time appointment and waited approximately 25 mins just to get into a room. Once inside the room, we spoke to the assistant for approximately 2 mins, then we were told our cat would be taken into the other room? so they could take his vitals. He was returned to us in about 2 mins and were we left for another 10-15 mins without being told how long it would be or who we were waiting for. After a total of 45 mins waiting, we left. Poor time/appointment management and poor customer service is not something we are willing to take a gamble on when it comes to our pet's health.
