My first visit at Livewell in Reston went as well as I had hoped! The staff from the front desk to the tech and vet was excellent. You can tell they care for animals as they took their time with my nervous pup to make sure she felt comfortable. The vet was clear explaining everything that she was doing during the exam and gave recommendations on how to move forward with how to ensure the best health for my dogs. I look forward to working with them with my pup and any future pets I may have!

The doctor and the entire staff were absolutely wonderful! They were so gentle and caring with my dog, and they took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which gave me so much peace of mind. The biggest sign of how kind they were? My dog didn’t even want the nurse to put her down when it was time to leave. That spoke volumes to me. I truly felt like they treated my dog as if she were their own family. Compassion and genuine care like that are hard to find these days. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Dr. Lockhart is amazing! I adopted a dog recently and she and the other staff have been so helpful with both health and behavioral/training/transition advice. My dog is actually excited when she goes to the vet.

Just moved to the Reston area and brought our 1.5 year dog for a visit, and this office, staff and vet are all awesome! Took great care of our sweet pup. So glad to have them in the neighborhood, highly recommend.

Absolutely sensational veterinary service. My dog has some of the worst allergies I’ve ever seen, and I had spent thousands of dollars across multiple vets treating flare-ups and running tests, only for the same issues to keep coming back. I originally brought him to Livewell during their opening week simply because they were closer to home, but I’m genuinely so glad I did. After just one treatment and a targeted at-home prevention routine, he hasn’t had a single flare-up since. I honestly didn’t expect to see this much improvement this quickly. I’m extremely happy with the care he received and would absolutely recommend them.
