Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Dr. Leah and her staff are absolutely wonderful! Kind, compassionate, and knowledgable. Our 10 mo. old Frenchie had a rash and they (Maria) squeezed us in for a same day appointment (which was WONDERFUL) and took great care of us. I am very pleased with the service, pricing, and locations close to our home. I will be moving all of our pets over House Paws as their main vet. I would 100% recommend House Paws as a great vet choice for your dog(s). Thank you, Dr. Leah + staff!

We found a friendly kitty, sent my little sister to go check if the kitty is microchipped. She went in, she was greeted by an older woman that spoke unnecessarily aggressive towards her asking if she as an appointment, that she needs an appointment, what’s the cats name etc. She didn’t even let my little sister explain herself, that the cat isn’t ours and we’re simply checking for a microchip. They eventually checked the cat, no microchip was found so now to find the kitty a home! I know y’all are stressed but don’t take it out on a already shy kid.

My dog did receive good care, based on the fact that he did well on the medications the vet prescribed, I previously gave a very good review after my first visit. Since, I found that they were charging me double for my dogs medications. I got it from Costco for much cheaper and from Chewy for literally half after asking for a paper prescription. Whenever I request a refill, they insist I bring him back in (even during this quarantine) for a re-check and they are EXTREMELY expensive. It took me a week to reach them this time even though I was calling during business hours... I got a recording saying they were away caring for animals and would return the call. They did not return the call and Marie said she received no messages from me, this is the norm unfortunately. After getting her on the phone finally, she said she would call me right back and did not. In the last week, while trying to reach them for a refill, my dogs ear infection has worsened, I got no call back and received an email declining my refill request and asking me to come in 4 days later. I'll be taking my dog elsewhere.

They have always been professional and caring, and took care of our dog like he was their own. We have moved to Texas and are going to miss them greatly!
