How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Great Falls Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

What a great practice! I needed an urgent appointment for my cat and couldn't get in with his normal vet or several other vets I called in the area. I called Great Falls and they not only got me in right away but also were so kind. David and Karen at the front were so sweet and Doctor Stuekerjuergen was so sweet, friendly, and thorough. She even called to check in on us later in the day. I will definitely be going back!

Dr. Cook is the best human and her team are so warm and friendly! I was visiting family from out of state and had concerns about my young puppy. After calling around to several vet offices, the team at GFAH was able to fit me in the next morning and get my puppy in ship shape. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. My mom joined the appointment and is now switching her two dogs from another practice.

We've taken all of our dogs to GFAH for many years and have never been dissapointed with the care and treatment they've reveived. The staff is superior and is there for us for any questions or guidance when the Doctors are unavailable. 5 stars to all of you. We would always recomend GFAH.

Surprised to see Dr. Fernandez still working here after she killed my dog. (2019) Update 2022: Our dog never made it after three days in the ICU, with round the clock intensive care due to an anesthesia overdose. This was confirmed by a neurologist at the Emergency hospital who came to review his case. I’m shaken to see that another person has experience this at the hands of this hospital in such a short time period. John, I’m not sure how to find you but please contact me. Clearly this hospital is negligent and needs to be held responsible.
