After a few months with this vet office, I've been impressed so far. It can get a little chaotic, which is true of all vet offices, but I find them to be very kind and accommodating while also staying on schedule for my appointment times. Prices are fair, and I've appreciated how much they share about various aspects of my pet's personality, condition, etc., so I feel like I'm having well-rounded visits with a vet that's paying attention to my whole pet, no matter what the specific reason for the visit is.

So first time I went to get my cats established with a local vet, the techs and receptionists in the front were bickering and arguing. The vet herself was fine. Second time, one of my cats was ill, but it was downplayed as behavioral. After a month of my cat being ill, I took him back and the emergency vet just covered for the previous provider. I took him for a second opinion to another vet later the same day and was shown actual evidence of tests run and their results. Thankfully he's doing a lot better.

Ashcake Animal Clinic isn't my personal vet, but they do handle two of my clients dogs. I'm a dog walker, and I noticed that one of my doggy clients wasn't acting like himself. I called on the way over, because we didn't have an appointment, and they fit us right in to avoid a costly emergency visit for my client. They were wonderfully attentive and caring, even aside from just fitting us into their schedule. They spoke to me kindly and thoroughly. They did everything they needed to make sure the pup was okay before bringing him back out. I would certainly recommend this vet for anyone who is in the vicinity of their office!
