Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Stacy and her staff are phenomenal! Even when you show up a day late for your pets appointment because you got the dates mixed up. He wasn’t able to do the appointment but they did get his heart worm shot done and other vaccinations needed. Establishing your pet with a trustworthy vet is essential for your pets comfort, your comfort, and for any emergencies that come up. Trying to find a vet in an emergency or weekends is hard due to an over abundance pet need in our area and a declining vet practice in the same area. But Pleasant Grove Animal Hospital is the only place we trust with our Gizmo. He enjoys going there and likes all the staff. Stacy’s compassion for the well being of animals goes above and beyond, I can assure if you see someone say something negative about this vet and clinic, there is probably more to the story than is being represented. If there were a 10 star rating I would certainly have no problem giving it. Giz has been with this staff since he was a puppy and is now a senior dog of 13 years old… and have no plans of going elsewhere.

PGAH is the absolute vet in town. Dr. Hendershott and her staff have been amazing with all my fur family members. They truly care and it shows.

Our dog passed away following a surgery for a lump (from another vet who could not help us.) I called and asked them if they could help me take care of his remains. They told me since I was not their client they couldnt help. I did find another vet who cared more about my dog then if I was a client.

Personnel at front desk is very welcoming. The techs are efficient and knowledgeable. Dr Hendershott is top notch. She took great care of Kitty Marie and kept her primary care vet in the loop.
