I took my dog and cat here for years. Each time they were treated so well. Dr. Hardiman and Dr. Guevara are truly some of the most amazing people. Rascal always did well with Dr. Hardiman and Gentry Mae built such a bond with Dr. Guevara and all the staff. When it was time for both pets to pass on I was treated with such compassion by everyone. I appreciate everything that VCA has done for me. I’m going to miss them all so much.

Had my female dog spayed months ago and she still bleeds. Stitches are still working out of her skin 5 months later and I still won't take my dog back here to be fixed properly. DO NOT TRUST THIS CLINIC, FIND SOMEONE THAT ACTUALLY CARES, and DOESNT LIE ABOUT PROCESSES OR EXPECTATIONS.

I’m am blown away by the kindness that this staff and office provided to us during this hard time of putting our family dog down last minute. I believe her name was Misty, sorry if I got that wrong but, her words were so comforting from the first time I called her that morning to the last minutes with Penny. We have had to put a dog down before, and they sent us home with her in a bag. This office gave us our loved one in a small cardboard casket for burial, and even drew a heart where her head was laid. The vet explained every step in the process while comforting us, but let us take as much time as we needed with her during her last minutes.

Don’t waste your money at a VCA facility!!!!! My daughter’s dog had an ulcer in her eye. She had to take her to a different urgent care facility on a Sunday . She needed a serum to treat the ulcer. A few days later, the serum left out of the fridge and we needed a new prescription. We came here to VCA Beltline on a Wednesday afternoon during normal office hours. The serum here was twice as much as it was at the UGENT care. Plus they charged for an exam we didn’t ask for. So for the services we were to receive at VCA Beltline East Animal Hospital would have paid twice what we paid at the urgent care animal hospital we took her to on Sunday. Btw. Urgent care vet had amazing reviews.

Our senior dog was in need of care after having a seizure. We found VCA Beltline East when the vet we normally go to said they stay open later; we had never been there before. We arrived as a walk-in about two hours before their closing time and they welcomed us and our dog in. The entire staff we encountered was kind and considerate. After visiting with Dr. Nightengale, who laid out all of our options without being pushy one way or another, we made the difficult decision to put our dog down. Dr. Nightengale and the entire staff talked us through every step of what would happen. Payment was made quick and easy from the exam room so we would not have to go back to the lobby. They gave us as much time alone as we needed to say goodbye. We elected to be there with her as the procedure was performed. Dr. Nightengale was very respectful and kept us informed of what was happening as the drugs were administered. Afterward, the vet tech, whose name I missed, explained that she would bring our dog to our car for us(we elected to take her home for burial). The tech was also very respectful and considerate. She carefully placed our dog in a cardboard coffin of sorts, wrapped her in a baby blanket, and even wrote "Minnie" with a heart above where the dog's head was positioned so we would know without having to open the box. Upon leaving, a candle was lit in the front waiting room next to which was written "If this candle is lit someone is saying goodbye to their beloved pet." Based on the compassion, caring, and respect we received, we will definitely be returning with our other dog. I can't thank the staff enough for all they did for our family during such a difficult time.
