How to Save Money at South Creek Animal Clinic
Schedule Regular Vet Visits
One of the best ways to save on vet bills is to prevent expensive health issues before they develop. By scheduling regular wellness checkups, your vet can detect health issues early, helping you to avoid costly treatments and surgeries down the road.
Price Shop for Pet Prescriptions
Oftentimes our fur babies are prescribed human drugs off-label. Your vet is apt to charge more for these medications than you would pay at your local pharmacy. In fact, big-box or chain pharmacies can offer steep discounts. So it’s best to price shop.
Pet Insurance
Most pet insurance providers will pay between 80% and 90% of the vet bill. You can even get coverage for routine care and things like vaccinations and dental cleanings. If you do the math, you’ll most likely find that pet insurance makes financial sense in the long run as well as gives you peace of mind.

Get Quotes & CompareGetting to Know Your New Vet: Essential Questions to Ask
Choosing a new veterinarian is an important decision for any pet owner. You want to find someone who is competent, compassionate, and a good fit for you and your fur baby. To help you get the most out of your first appointment, here's a list of essential questions to ask your new vet:
Tell me about your experience with [pet type].
Different vets have different areas of specialization. Some are experts with cats, some dogs, some pocket pets, and some horses. Knowing that your vet has vast experience treating your specific type of pet can bring you peace of mind.
How do you handle emergencies?
You must know what to do in case of a pet medical emergency. Inquire what after-hours policy the clinic has, whether they have on-site emergency care available, and if they have a relationship with any nearby emergency animal hospitals.
How do you communicate with pet owners?
Good communication is key to building a trusting relationship with your vet. Ask how they prefer to communicate (phone calls, emails, online portal) and how often you can expect to hear from them.
Are there any breed-specific health concerns I should be aware of?
Some breeds are predisposed to certain health conditions. Knowing what to watch out for can help you catch problems early and get your pet the treatment they need.
Do you have any questions for me about my pet?
This is a great question to ask because the answer will show that the vet is interested in getting to know your pet as an individual and is willing to listen to your concerns.
Bonus question: Can I take a tour of your facility?
Getting a feel for the clinic's environment can help you and your pet feel more comfortable during your visits. Remember, you’re not just looking for a veterinarian, you’re looking for a partnership. Do not be afraid to ask these questions and any others you can think of. Any vet worth their salt will be happy to answer them. Because the more informed you are, the better equipped you'll be to make decisions about your pet's care! And that should be every vet’s top priority.
Reviews from Google
We had an appointment at south creek animal hospital today and I was truly impressed. I’ve owned dogs my whole life but I’m a first time cat owner… so I had a lot of questions. They answered and explained everything. The Vet and tech were both so gentle and patient with my kitty and really took their time. Gertie was very at ease in their cat room and she even felt safe enough to explore the whole room. Fair prices, friendly and informative staff, and clean exam room! Thanks again, See y'all at her check up!

Wonderful vets and wonderful staff We had to sadly put our beloved dog down and they were so wonderful and professional about it. From the girls at the front desk, to the vet assistant, to the Vet Dr. Stamm. Thank you for making our dog comfortable and make us feel comfortable too. Y’all are the best

I've been for regular visits and emergency (cat decided to hurt his paw and triple it's size over night). The staff are amazing and kind and patient. Prices are great too! Went in prepared to get gouged a little for the emergency visit and it was only $160! That's super reasonable! Overall, I say give them a chance and you'll likely love them too :)

I've been sending people here since before the grand opening when Dr Gloriot's own mother invited me inside to tour the waiting and consultation areas. He has helped my Airedale Dexi thru at least two UTI, multiple allergy skin issues, and has helped me understand the importance of laproscopic ovarioectomy spay done by experts at Blue Pearl and that he aspires to provide clients compared to invasive open abdomen surgery of ovariohysterectomy. My terrified rescued shaggy dog has also been here many times, enough to begin feeling relaxed. We plan to switch from Banfield (due to being rescued is on 1 year contract that ends soon). Anyone who answers the phone has always been gracious and kind. Technicians/nurses who handle Dexi, help me with sample collections, are always patient and capable. Dr Gloriot has printed out information for me and seems to keep up with advances in small animal veterinarian medicine. When Dr Gloriot calls to follow up an issue, he speaks candidly, answers questions kindly and succinctly, and really listens. I've felt happy trusting this team. I don't mind they stick to what they can fix in a few hours (no overnight vet care provided usually). The prices aren't horrendous but have not been considered low for me; I'd like to get on the right insurance plan! Today Dr Gloriot earned five stars yet again even though we had a scary speedbump... An issue I called about several days while also discussing normal care then resurfaced, much worse!! When looking for care and answers, I heard the receptionist tell me by phone only "some dogs" are chosen to come in and so Dexi wouldn't be treated... Well, she simply got caught in inexperience and lack of listening. As either a new or temporary employee, her actions toward a patient in need alarmed Dr Gloriot so much he had the entire office stop everything and have an emergency staff meeting! And of course he first contacted me! I've seen multiple dogs brought in that were emergent like I thought Dexi was today and feel every case possible deserves the excellent level of care I've witnessed. I know they'll refer if they can't help. And they only can't help if the vets are gone or in surgery or too many emergencies. As for Dexi, for anyone wondering, she's a wonderful sweet pup who seems to be appreciated by everyone who loves dogs. Her condition this hot June day was truly an emergency! Acute pancreatitis! ... She's receiving medical care now. Her absence from the house is sorely missed and we hope she will make a full recovery soon. All pawsitive energy sent for her is appreciated! Photos I've added are from multiple visits.
