I can’t respond to the owners response so I thought I’d give a more detailed review. I brought my 2 dogs in and they both needed heartworm tests and an exam. I apologized immediately when my yorkie snapped at the vet and that caught me off guard too he’s normally very sweet and I’m sorry that happened. If he had shown that behavior in the past I absolutely would have said that. The tech was very nice and seemed to care about the pets we had a great interaction I’m certain she didn’t think I was rude. The doctor came in and asked me the exact same questions the tech did which is fine. I answered them all. Then she examined my other pet who was obviously nervous. The vet was confusing what I had just told her about my pets and mixing them up. She started to examine my other dog and she told me my pets tongue was turning purple which could be an emergency situation and instead of examining her and making sure she was okay, the vet decided it was a good time to lecture me about how ivermectin (heart guard) isn’t effective anymore. I was thrown off because she just told me my pets tongue was purple and she could have a heart condition. I was not rude, I did interrupt and simply asked if we could back up a few seconds and discuss what’s going on instead of her opinion of heart guard. She wasn’t answering my questions and was slurring her words leaning on the table. So I said “ we aren’t vibing” paid and left. I was not rude. And I’d bet a lot of money the Dr. wasn’t sober.

The vets and staff are the best and are so sweet. I love this place. Rigby always feels safe and content there. Bella and Stanley have the best visits and they always come home happy. Best staff ever.

I’ve been taking my cat here for years. We have added a puppy to the family now. I can’t praise the staff enough. They are so awesome and so friendly. The veterinarian, Alison is such a wonderful and very informative person. Deeply cares for her patients. She has never made my pet and I feel like just a number. Highly recommend San Benito Animal Hospital! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Been coming here for a few years now, and besides the great care they show my dogs, and the level of detail in which they explain care and health options. I never struggled to get appointments and they always answer your call. They also call to remind you of appointments, I’m sure we all appreciate that.

I rescued two babies from the street and everyone at San Benito Animal Hospital have been phenomenal in getting them healthy. I am very grateful for all their advice and guidance as a first time pet owner. My pets have been very well taken care of and I am very happy with their services!
