How to Save on Veterinary Costs at East Texas Pet Emergency Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I have never experienced such patience, kindness, and loving care from any veterinary clinic as East Texas Pet Emergency Clinic! I highly recommend them and wish they were my regular veterinarian!

Really appreciated everyone at this vet office. They got us in very quickly on a Sunday and showed genuine concern and care for my lab. They were very up front about financials, explained everything in great detail and answered all of my questions without making me feel like a burden. I was in a scary and really sad situation and they were very empathetic, comforting and honest. Highly recommend them. Vet tech and vet were absolutely fantastic (I wish I could remember their names to mention in this review - couldn’t focus on much at the time). My baby had to stay over night and it was so nice to be able to call and check up on him before I went to sleep that night. Thank y’all so much for caring about me and my fur baby.

Took my 1 y/o puppy here for a snake bite. They gave her excellent care, explained her treatment plan thoroughly and with options that accounted for cost differences. We ended up taking the most aggressive route of treatment and they were still very reasonable priced and honest. Highly recommend. Can't say enough great things.

We rushed my pug to this clinic on Sunday afternoon after she had eating a ball of raw bread dough. They were very fast and caring. We were in and out in no time and I’m so thankful they were open on Sunday!

I've used their services multiple times since moving to Longview (once for my large dog who got into a huge amount of bacon grease - unknowingly at the time - and wouldn't eat or drink due to nausea and once for my cat who was snake-bitten) and this is by far the best emergency vet clinic I've ever utilized. The staff are all incredibly caring and committed to providing excellent care for your pet. The doctors answered all of my questions and calmed my concerns, and the techs and receptionists were incredibly helpful and understanding. Truly staffed by angels.
