From calling to make an appointment to our visit, this veterinary office is welcoming and comforting. The staff are so incredibly friendly and warm, with the right amount of personality and humor to lighten the mood when needed. We just moved here and can absolutely say that this is our new primary veterinary office, and we will be bringing the rest of our fur babies here. Dr. Shanks is the BEST!! She’s very knowledgeable and compassionate. It’s so clear that she genuinely loves what she does! The entire staff was welcoming, kind and helpful. I will never go anywhere else! This is the place to take your fur babies!

Our girl, Guinness always got nervous entering the veterinary office. But Dr Shanks‘s new office, City Vet is so beautiful and welcoming that Guinness walked right in wagging her tail and stepped on the scale. She was happy as could be and comfortable with Ashley, the Vet Technician and Dr Shanks. Dr Shanks has been taking care of our girl since she was a puppy. So we decided to follow our amazing vet and technician out to her new beautiful office in Lake Worth. I highly recommend this office and staff for the outstanding care of anyone’s pets. Very trust worthy and highly knowledgeable.🐾

Dr. Shanks and her team are absolutely wonderful! Ashley, the practice manager, has such a huge heart and truly goes above and beyond to help even the tiniest of patients. When I found two neonatal kittens needing specialized care beyond what I could provide, they stepped in right away. I’m so grateful for their compassion and expertise—highly recommend this amazing team!
