How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Town & Country Animal Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Communication Preferences
Ask how the clinic communicates with pet parents, including updates, test results, and follow up questions.
Breed Specific Health Considerations
Some breeds may be more prone to certain health conditions. Early awareness can help with prevention and early treatment.

if i could give this place 0 stars i would. i took my cat here for a wound on his head that started out as a small scab that got bigger. they ran so many tests and couldn't figure out what it was. they asked me if i had any dogs, i said yes i have one dog. they asked if they get along, my dog is playful but he would never hurt my cat. they said "well maybe your dog did it" no my dog did not do this. it started out as a small scab and eventually grew to be the size of a quarter. and then they handed my cat to me with HALF OF HIS WHISKERS CUT OFF! they had to shave the area around it to run tests and clearly did nothing to steer clear of his whiskers. and then they proceeded to ask me if i abuse my cat. i asked if they were out of their minds. AND THEN they handed me a bill of $500. when i left all i could do was sit in my car and cry. i got accused of abusing my cat after they told me i should probably get rid of my dog or keep him away from my cat, and they cut half my cats whiskers off. and after all that, they didn't find a single solution and sent me on my way with a cream that didn't help at all. still had to pay the $500 bill. later on i took him to a better vet, turns out it was just allergies from the weather change and he was scratching himself. i will NEVER go back to this place. they are SICK!!!!!

STAY FAR AWAY! We took our dog here to have the fur on-top of his hot spot trimmed since our regular vet was closed. We agreed for them to sedate him so he would stay still and they took it upon themselves to administer other medication and run tests on my dog and do other work on him that we did not ask for or consent to and charged us $802. When my husband got home and I found out I called them and was told “pets are expensive just like kids if you don’t want to pay then you shouldn’t have a pet.” I then asked why weren’t we notified when they decided to do extra things that we didn’t ask for and the vet told me “I don’t ask for permission for pets” they have refused to refund us for everything they did without our knowledge and told me if we didn’t want the extra stuff done then we should have gone to the normal vet and that since my husband isn’t confrontational maybe I should have brought the dog instead. They are scamming people and preforming procedures and tests on pets without the owners permission. They also did not have any records for my dogs on medicine, vaccines, or allergies to which the dr told me he gave my dog an allergy shot!

We took a strong feisty feral in for neutering, and he managed to get it done! Dr. Mitch and his staff were so friendly and caring as well as not breaking the bank for the procedure. Our kitty had a bit of a fever and the followup was extraordinary, with phone calls to check up on him. The best vet and staff I've seen in a long... long time.
