How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Plantation Pet Health Center

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Super nice staff! It is hard to find a good exotic pet vet and this is the place! They helped my bearded dragon Lou with a pretty nasty eye infection. You can really tell how much everyone here loves animals and wants to help. Dr Martin was very kind, gentle and informative.

I work at a boarding center and we had a mutual client with a health issue while boarding. I’ve had to call many vets before both personal for my pets and for work. I’ve never in my life had more helpful staff at a vet than this place. Often honestly when I call from a boarding center to vet centers staff can be a bit rude or try to rush you off the phone. She literally was above and beyond helping. Said please call back. If you have other questions or need anything else. Said the owner could call even though she’s out of town and they would do anything to help. And quickly got us meds the next day to help with the baby who was stressed. The fact that we weren’t personal clients and they were so willing to help us as well as their client was so incredible. Please take your pets there. They clearly love what they do

They took excellent care of both my cat and dog and were the only vet I used while living in Frisco.
