How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Teeter Veterinary Services

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Dr. Teeter and her staff are all amazing people. They're knowledgeable, kind, and patient. They've provided excellent care for my dogs, and they sent me a nice condolences card when we had to put down my sweet Buddy. They're also affordable! I've been able to get great care for my dogs without breaking the bank. I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Teeter and I recommend her to anyone who asks about a vet here in Dumas.

This was a great place to take my little dog. My dog had been sick for over a week and had been diagnosed with pancreatitis at another clinic. I took her to Dr. TEETER to advise me on euthanasia. The doctor did a thorough exam, including blood testing and found nothing wrong, except her cataracts. She is back to her normal self. I'm so relieved not to have had her euthanized without a second opinion. The staff there was very kind.

My Mini Schnauzer got mauled by another dog the day before Thanksgiving. The Teeter family were a true blessing to us. They immediately fit us in through their busy holiday schedule and took care of our Fur baby. I don't know what I would have done if it weren't for them. I can't thank them enough! Our schnauzer is happy and healthy once again!
