How to Save on Veterinary Costs at VCA Deer Creek Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The vet I use for my dog recommended VCA for my guinea pig. Everyone was very friendly, professional, and super informative. Answered all my questions, and kept my mind at ease while dealing with my piggie's URI. They always follow up to make sure things are going well after the visit. I definitely recommend this location!

My first time at the vet. I took a stray kitten found on the side of the road. They were very nice, caring, and helpful. They give you free gifts for your first visit as a starter kit for your pet

Had an appointment today for my 2 cats, the receptionist wasn't friendly. She took me to my room. The vet tech came in and she wasn't friendly either, she looked and talked down to me. I didn't feel comfortable having them do an exam on my cats so I left. I told a nice bubbly happy vet tech on my way out and she did apologize. Not sure how the service was because I didn't trust them to touch my animals. I didn't have good vibes at this place, there are plenty of other vet hospitals around that will be kind. Maybe you will have better luck.

This practice has been a great home base of kitty care for the past two years. I really feel like the staff care about my little old lady as they always fuss over her when I bring her in. Dr. Covarrubias has gone above and beyond in communicating with me about what is best for my cat, and I appreciate it so much.

VCA deer creek staff is always friendly and helpful. They take care of our fur babies and reptiles. Their vet tech Summer is awesome with all of our pets! We are so grateful to have a Veterinarian that takes care of mammals and reptiles.
