How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Carthage Ag & Vet Supply

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

She has a great supply of flowers including white pacifica vincas that are so low care, pretty, and can be hard to find.

Grat place for plants seed, and growing medium plus fertilizers.

Great place to buy your yard, garden, and such needs. Tonya was a pleasure to talk to. She is knowledgeable and friendly. Only thing I did not like was hearing that the business is up for sale, as Tonya is planning to retire. I hope someone will purchase it, and continue making this a great business for the community.

Good place to get your annual planting done early in the year but seems everyone is now selling the same plants resale. They seem to have the widest selection but could do so much more if they got the hoops back up and running.

I arrived 5 minutes before close and the boy who works there had already locked the doors and set the alarm. I begged him to please sell me 3 plants (I needed 2 ferns for my sister's birthday and 1 large potted plant for my niece's funeral.) He absolutely refused. This store is the only place in town to find plants like that, so I ended up having to drive an hour to another town to get the things I needed. I guess he didn't mind the owner losing that $60+, but I have an idea that the owner probably minded. If I were her I would have a stern talk with my employees about closing early. That's just bad practice.
