Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Dr Allman is the best. He takes the time to answer any and all of your questions and explains every step to you. He also makes himself available for questions after surgery. I have recommended him many many times over the years and will continue to do so. I used him 10 years ago and again a week ago for my second dog. VROC is a beautiful new facility with non-slip floors which are such a perk for dogs with orthopedic injuries and their scale is built into the floor so the dogs don’t have to step up onto it. Just a couple little things that make a huge difference. Highly recommend!

It’s hard to put in a few words how happy we are with Dr Allman and what he has done for Stevie, our toy poodle. Dr Allman performed FHO surgery on Stevie last October. Stevie injured his right hip from an unfortunate accident and to make matters worse, he already has bilateral hip dysplasia from birth. After the injury, he was hopping on 3 legs and could not put his right leg down. We met with Dr Allman and he was kind, professional and thorough in explaining the procedure and the rehab needed to help Stevie get back to where he was. We left there with no doubt on our minds he is the surgeon we wanted. 3 months later, Stevie is healed and back to his happy, playful, crazy self! They say 6 months for full recovery and muscle build, but Stevie is walking and running on all 4’s with NO hopping on the operated side- like NOTHING happened. EVERYDAY we look at him with gratitude and happiness in our hearts seeing how he is living his life with pure, unadulterated poodle joy❤️ all thanks to Dr Allman and his amazing expertise at his job. Someday, our wish is for Stevie to have the same procedure done to his left hip to relieve the dysplasia- by no one else but Dr Allman. *his facilities are first class and top notch- feels like a world class hospital for humans. And his staff were very nice too- in person and over the phone*

I took my Boston Terrier to VROC with severe mobility issues stemming from iVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), specifically displaying chronic neck pain and complete loss of control in her two front legs. Dr. Allman diagnosed and performed the required iVDD surgery. Dr. Allman maintained an exceptional level of professionalism, transparency, and humbleness. We valued his clear communication regarding the procedure and the dedication he showed to our dog's care. The surgical outcome was a success. Only 24 hours post-surgery, our dog was able to walk unassisted, and the chronic neck pain had significantly improved. This rapid and substantial recovery is a direct result of Dr. Allman’s expertise and surgical precision. I recommend VROC for their outstanding service and mostly for saving my dog. I’m sharing a photo of my dog 4 weeks after surgery. She is doing so well.

My veterinarian recommended Dr Allman at VROC for TPLO surgery on my dogs hind leg. My initial visit was going over the procedure and Dr Allman was very thorough and took his time explaining every detail of the surgery. The surgery went very well, and Rhett is on his last 3 weeks of recovery! Thank you Dr Allman and all his wonderful staff! You all are Amazing!

Was referred to here when I had an emergency with my cat. He was clipped by a car and his hip was fractured. They were so patient, kind, and caring with us. I’ll never forget how well they treated pookie and I / how they helped me save his life! They really did help me out so much I can’t ever thank Dr Breiteneicher and his staff enough for saving my baby boy. Also the facility is so clean and has good snacks and drinks!
