Dr. Yvette Cannata is quite literally a miracle worker. When i brought my sweet boy in, he was very near death. She was able to pinpoint his autoimmune disease on the first visit. Not to mention, her and miss Penelope treated us like family. They called to check on him even on the holidays when the clinic was closed. They saved my babies life. And we are forever grateful. I would 1000 percent recommend this clinic, and these two people specifically.

Love this place! I go to the South location and love Dr. VanDyke, she is great and all the staff are very helpful, especially Alexis - she is so good with our dog! He's a German Sheppard and high energy but she and the rest of the team at this clinic work with him beautifully. They also have a texting service for follow-up with is very convenient.

Let me start by saying my 1st visit with my 14yo shepherd was a 5 star. Why is it so hard to find consistency. 200. Plus for my dog's (Bo) ear infection. Came back with the same freaking medicine I got at last vet, which was the same.freaking medicine they were going to send me.home with any way if I didn't do the cytology exam for 80.00 but I got talked into it so just as much my bad. I was hoping maybe a different medicine. So flushing medicine is (i can go get that later complimentary) like that wasn't included in the 220. Plus. And then the recheck fee. That's like going to the ER and getting sutures and then returning to the same place and having them charge you to take the sutures out. Shouldn't the recheck be part of the freaking service provided. Didn't talk about him getting over his diarrhea and Bo is not an easy dog by any means at the vet and I forgot to ask more info like since he has gone a day without pooping should I be concerned, if not as what point.. etc.. just not a good visit. Guess that 220.00 just wasn't enough. Ugh!! Nice place, clean and everyone was nice!

Dr. Cannata and staff are excellent. Took my 12 year old English Bulldog there and they could not have been more caring and understanding. So happy they have moved into our central Austin area. Have had 3 vets retire in last few years and City Vet is a wonderful choice for my dog.

I love this clinic. The vets and techs are caring and wonderful. They are also very efficient and the pricing is reasonable. It’s been very hard to not find a private equity owned vet in Austin lately, but this is it. They are actually listening to you and recommending what is best for your pet, not just trying to see how high they can get the bill. It makes for a better relationship. I know if they recommend something, one of my babies needs it. I’ve now brought it my dog and one of my cats. The whole brood will be going here from now on.
