I was traveling through Abilene, stayed at a hotel, and found a feral cat. I took the cat into my life. Radford Hills Vet Clinic, with little notification, took my appointment, did not ask an invasive amount of financing questions due to my circumstances, and helped. I first brought my beloved kitty here in May 2020. She had stopped eating suddenly and was losing weight rapidly. She was 15 years old and up until that point was happy and healthy. After determining that the condition she had could not be cured, Dr. Leavell discussed with me at length about the options available for her. Ultimately, I felt she was too old and weak to go through anything exploratory and just wanted her to be as comfortable as possible until she passed. The treatments she received brought her back to the kitty I remember and gave me extra time I would not have otherwise had with her. Dr. Leavell and his staff were always available to me even when very busy and were always open and honest with me. The kindness and compassion they showed these past months and the day of her passing means more to me than I can say. This is the only place I would ever bring my fur babies. ❤

Excellent care even during Covid restrictions. Even though this clinic had never seen my 10 yo poodle they worked me in on a Friday afternoon since I thought something serious was going on with her. After the exam the Dr called to discuss her treatment plan. I felt very comfortable with his plan and the quality of care and highly recommend this clinic! Thank you for your excellent care!
