Hands down the best vet practice I have used. Both my GSDs and my mother in law’s Yorkie have been treated. The entire staff is the epitome of kindness and professionalism. Drs Bain (GSDs) and Casey (Yorkie) are amazing and will go out of the way to accommodate pet nuances. The support staff is amazing and the entire operation is dialed in.

I have used New Hope in the past for my dog. I was always happy with their service. Today they went beyond good service, and provided excellent care. I found a stray dog on my road, and after trapping and keeping her confined while I figured out what to do, I realized she had puppies. My neighbors and I banded together to find the puppies, and I brought them to the office to be aged to make sure they could be rehomed safely. They helped no charge, and dewormed them for free, even though I was willing to pay. The puppies were seen quickly by Dr. Bain to confirm they were healthy, and a vet tech handled each pup, and reviewed the concerning puppy for more time. Polk county has a severe stray dog problem, and they pitched in without concern for themselves. Thank you, Momma dog did her best to make healthy puppies, and I know she appreciates your help. I do as well. It’s on us who live here to handle stray dogs as we do not have a humane office, or animal control- and I very much appreciate them helping in the ways they could.

I will be forever grateful to Dr. Bain, Dr. Casey, and Dr. Heise for saving my German Shepherd’s life. She was diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo a long, complex surgery that included amputating her leg. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through, but thanks to these amazing doctors, she made it through safely and is now on the road to recovery. Their kindness, compassion, and expertise were beyond anything I could have hoped for. They truly listened to every concern, answered all my questions with patience, and always made time for me—even picking up the phone when I called, no matter how busy they were. I felt 100% supported and knew my dog was in the best hands possible. Dr. Bain, Dr. Casey, and Dr. Heise are not only brilliant surgeons—they are caring, dedicated people who clearly love what they do. I can’t thank them enough for giving my girl a second chance. If you ever need exceptional veterinary care, I highly recommend this team. They are simply the best.

Highly recommend to others! Have a dog with a unique health issue and transferred care from another city. They reached out to my previous vet to understand the situation before we arrived. I was allowed to be present when they drew her blood as was the case with my previous vet. They were very professional, gentle and kind to my fur baby ❤️
