How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Van Crest Animal Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Thorough with their communication, waiting room time was short. The office is calm and welcoming. Can definitely tell that everyone here loves animals. Very gentle and confident in their handling while administering vaccinations to my Madeline. Short Sweet and to-the-point visit. Dr. Chambers was honest and thorough with her exam. I am definitely happy I have a new Vet to bring Maddy to. I will be returning!

We take both of our English Bulldogs to this vet and they are amazing with our dogs. Or male had to have cherry eye surgery and I’m so pleased with the outcome! I trust them implicitly!

I'd give 10 Stars if I could! Van Crest is the first practice out of 4 to actually bring relief to my Brutus. Dr Chambers says he needed to get more aggressive than the other vets. The other 3 places I've went in the Columbia and surrounding areas did not know how to handle my cat's issue, So they just gave me a bunch of medication to give my cat. (7x's a day). So far the procedure that Dr Chambers did last week has been much easier on me and I'm starting to see my cat get back to his normal self after 2 months of suffering. Dr Chambers is very active into new technology which is extremely helpful. Thank you Van Crest Animal Hospital.

He was an okay guy but NOT the best vet. When he sisters dog died he showed no sympathy...we brought my mom's dog in he said he was healthy yet he died of cancer 2 weeks later... When I took my dog to him many years ago with parvo he didn't even try to save her Thankfully sunset did. Good job Mr Chambers for not saving drake's life.
