How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Oconee Veterinary Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

The best staff and service. My dog needed her teeth cleaned, people were starting to make comments about how bad her teeth looked. I took her to OVC, and they were very professional. Her teeth look beautiful and she was not traumatized like she was at the vets office in Brevard NC. She was happy and acted as if nothing happened. I love the staff, they understand how much I love Olive and took care of her as if she were theirs. The bill was a normal amount not exorbitant like NC vets office

Except for the wait. Andy and staff are very nice and accommodating. For a vet clinic very reasonably priced.

The new secretary at the desk needs a new job. She put me on hold and never clicked back over. I have always been told walk-ins till 12. My dog was brought in for a shot bec she was having an allergic reaction and turned away! Before she started working when I would call and inform them of this I was always told bring her in today my animal was turned away and I was told if I give her my email she can send me my records to go to a new vet!

A younger lady with brown hair was extremely rude today. Got mad our dog sniffed her shoes, and jerking his leash around. Overall just mean. Will be the last time I visit this place.
