Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Sadly after 16.5 years our loving dog, Drama, became suddenly ill and had to be humanely euthanized. We had never been to this pet hospital but we were treated so kindly and compassionately. This was a very sad time and the team at the VCA Hood View Animal Hospital were so caring and ensured our beloved family pet passed quietly and painlessly. We thank you, VCA.

Great Vets! RIDICULOUS PRICES. I have been going to VCA Hood View for at least 12 years now, for my herd of cats. I love the vets - and the care is excellent. This review is about VCA gouging for everything. Even though the poor vets and techs try to minimize the cost, half of each visit is figuring out the 8,000 different ways VCA is going to charge you. Mars bought VCA in 2017, and it has gotten worse and worse on price. Mars also owns Banfield, Royal Canin, Whiskas, and more. The oligarchy and monopolies in this country are making it hard for ordinary people to have pets and treat them. I am looking for a good old fashioned neighborhood vet now. I will miss my wonderful vet, Dr. Reynolds, but these prices are deal killers. I don't feel like subsidizing some hedge fund bro every time I get a blood draw for my older cats.

The staff is always helpful and willing to answer my questions. Dr. Ball has been an effective listener and communicator. I always feel safe and respected when I come here.

I've been taking my cats and dogs here for about 12 years. I feel welcomed and heard. My dogs are happy to go to see their Dr Ball. My cats usually don't like being confined and their activities restricted, so they do try to challenge the staff, and they are still treated with kindness. I feel that each of my animals gets treated as individuals and their special quirks are always taken into consideration.

I had entrusted care here with my elderly cat when we found out it was cancer. They did everything they could to work with us and give us options as well as reality. When the time came, they couldn’t have been more compassionate and helpful in making the process so much more comfortable and didn’t feel clinical at all. Now I take my new kitten in and I’ll continue to take my animals here~! Impeccable service and so warm hearted. Doesn’t blindside you with charges and fees. A+++
