How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Feline Medicine & Surgery Clinic

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

My cat has neurological issues, and so I decided to take her to someone who specializes in cats rather than my own vet. For a vet who has been around for a while she told me she has never seen a case like this. So they put her on meds that helped a little but didn’t ever follow up. I reached out to express other concerns and they still never reached out back to me about my cat self mutilating its own tail. I was also needing more medication, since I doubled up per vet instruction and ran out. I was very disappointed in their interaction. I went back to my vet and they’re taking care of her now.

We absolutely adore, appreciate, and recommend 110% Dr. Young and all of her staff! They are so kind and really care about every cat that walks into the door. Every phone call is great and every staff member I've talked to is top notch and really knows their stuff on felines. I also love the office with all of the clinic cats living their best life. I trust them all with my 2 cats (Butters & Lemmy.) Your furry babies are in good hands here!

I took my sphynx cat to see Dr. Diane and I will definitely go back when it's needed. I love all the cats that roam around freely. They are so precious! The Dr. was really knowledgeable in the sphynx breed which was great as I have been searching for a vet who has worked with this breed before as they can have health issues from time to time. I love that they took their time and listened to everything I had to say without rushing me so they could just get to the next patient. I also appreciate that they didn't try to upsell me or get me to do tests that we didn't really need. I went there bc my cats ears were bothering him. Out the door it cost $86 which was fair, I believe. The office visit was $56 and then the ear drops were $30. The doctor also helped me by cutting Teddy's nails! All in all I am very happy with this clinic and I would definitely recommend them to any feline owner.

The vet here loves cats and is really good with people. I found her after going to 4 other vets. Her office is 40 mins from the house and I still picked her. She is that good! Her office staff and assistants are the best too. If you are looking for a feline, only vet go there!

The staff and Dr. Young were absolutely amazing. I recently switched vets and I couldn’t be happier. She took the time to teach me about kidney disease and the options I have for my cat. Overall, great experience and would recommend this clinical 100%.
