How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Mairs' Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Was surprised that when I asked to go back and speak to the vet during the exam on my three dogs I was put in a room and the girl took each dog separately and the only time I got to see the vet was when she came in after the exam. I like when I am able to be with my dogs so I can point out things. The staff is friendly but I still would have liked to be with my dogs while they got examined.

I use Mair's Veterinary Hospital for all our animals which include horses, cats, and dogs. The staff is kind, attentive and easy to work with. It puts my mind at ease knowing my animal's well-being is in the hands of such experienced professionals. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, reliable vet clinic that truly cares about each animal they treat.

Wr have been with Mairs for many many years, even was Doc was still there. Prices for services cant be beat and they care about the animals they treat. If they need to make referrals they will do that. We cant say enough about Rich. He has always treated our family and pets and horses with the upmost respect and is always there for us, even with his extremely busy schedule. We are so grateful.
