Veterinary Alternative Therapy
How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Veterinary Alternative Therapy
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Breed Specific Health Considerations
Some breeds may be more prone to certain health conditions. Early awareness can help with prevention and early treatment.

Dr. Jody is great. She's kept my beagle, who was diagnosed with cancer going for almost 3 years now, using alternative medicine and a healthy diet. He wouldn't be here today without her. And many thanks to Jill for all of her wonderful assistance!

You'll never find a better vet. We've been with them for nearly 12 years, from almost the beginning of our pup's life to his most recent passing. We drive from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to get care for our dogs, and so long as we are close enough will continue to do so.

Staff is wonderful. Dr. Jody is unlike any other vet in this valley. She's kind and down to earth and very knowledgeable about western medicine as well as eastern medicine. I never thought this valley would ever have the options she has for our pets. If an animal can benefit from some type of holistic therapy verses medicines, i pick therapy. My boxer suffers with her hips and I take her there for HYDROTHERAPY! She's like a puppy again. Also, Dr. Jody is very much a naturalist, has alpacas for wool, produces range free brown eggs and natural local honey. Her prices are very reasonable too. I'm so glad my Frankie Jo has this option
