How to Save on Veterinary Costs at West Central Ohio Veterinary

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

Not only the Dr's but the entire staff have treated George like he was a member of their family. They explain everything that they are going to do and answer any questions that I might have. I always know whenever I have taken one of my fur babies to Weat Central Ohio Vet that they will get the very best care

Our fifteen year old "kitty" was suffering and needed a final rest on a Saturday evening. On the phone and in the office, the staff was caring and attentive to the pet and to the family. First class operation, highly recommend.

We live right down the street and our bunny was unable to move, they told us the emergency vet that takes rabbits was an hour away. How can you be an “emergency vet” with farm animals nearby and not take them? There wasn’t anything they could do anyways, but that is ridiculous. Get more doctors to care for more animals.

Completely disappointed with the overall experience. My dogs ears were cropped at another vet and one of his posts came out, I called to ask if they could re-post his ears. I was told yes after they asked the doctor if that could be done! My wife brought him in the next day (Sunday) only reason we didn’t go to our normal vet. Once there the doctor told my wife they don’t do that. Waste of time and money. $125 just to be told they don’t do what they said they could do the day prior. Also didn’t even properly fix the post. I called back to tell them we were unhappy with the service we received and I was rudely hung up on. We are now purchasing new tape and reposting the ears ourselves. Thanks for nothing.
