How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Big Creek Pet Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. Scheduling is super easy via the website. The staff is super friendly and communicative. I’ve been sending my pets here for years now and will continue to do so. Pricing is on par with other places for common services, if not slightly cheaper. Their love of animals is obvious and the staff genuinely cares for your beloved pets as if they were their own.

This is a wonderful practice starting with the front desk who are always extremely helpful, friendly and kind. All of the vet techs are great and the doctors are as well. I was nervous about finding a vet when I moved to this area and Big Creek Pet Hospital has been a fantastic facility for my pets.

I absolutely love the doctors, vet techs, vet assistants, and all other staff at Big Creek. They take the time to really check out an animal and ensure they are properly diagnosing a problem. I love the ABC plan which helps a lot in spreading out the money I will be spending on vet care throughout the course of the year. I've been taking my pets there for years and know that I am getting the best care possible. Animal care/veterinary medicine can be a very difficult profession and I am so grateful to have Big Creek Pet Hospital!

The doctors are always caring and concerned for the well being of our very picky dog! The staff is also very caring and love our little guy. I appreciate the concern they show for the member of our little family. Sarah has gone out of her way to help us thru a very difficult time.

Have been going to Big Creek since 1991 with my first lab. They all care for our animals as if they’re their own. Cookie doesn’t mind going to the vet even though they poke and prod her.
