How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Chardon Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

We’ve gone there for about 2-3 yrs now they’ve seen my dogs grow up friendly and all and because there a big bread they no longer wanted to see up because a nurse complained even tho there’s never the same nurse when we go but ok but other then that ive recommended others there because of how cheap they are but now I’ll tell them not to go because they also have big dogs which I’m surprised is a problem cause they do other animals like horses and cows 🤷🏽‍♀️

This is a small animal clinic, and sort of no frills. But, you're there because you want medical care for your pet, and Doc Allmon and team are experts. They are gentle with your pets, and are very knowledgeable. The rates are very reasonable, and with a small building, there is not a lot of overhead to cover. We've taken our pets to CVH for years, and we're very happy with the care and service. I recommend this place for your pets!
