How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Edgewood Veterinary Hospital

Preventive care

Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.

Compare prescription pricing

Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.

Consider pet insurance

Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I have been taking my many animals to Edgewood Veterinary Hospital for years. The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, kind, compassionate, and helpful. They answer my questions patiently, no matter how many I ask, and take the time needed to explain things in a way that makes sense. The doctors and techs are very gentle and loving to my animals. I am so glad I found them and recommend them to everyone I know!!!

I am so happy to have found such a wonder Vet and staff! My pup hasn't been feeling well and they have worked so hard to get her better, checking on us often to make sure we are doing ok and loving my pets like I do! Dr. Wulf and Vet Tech Mary have been an absolute God send! I highly recommend Edgewood Veterinary!!

We’ve been bringing our animals here since Dr. Roberts opened the practice years ago. He was amazing… his staff was amazing. Since the practice was sold, it’s not the same. I really like Dr.Wulf… and really liked Dr. Taylor when he was there, but with the exception of Sandy(who has been there a long time.. and we love her) the staff is is now so rude. They act like we are a bother when we call or need something or have questions. We’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars here, have been clients since the practice first opened and for the first time ever, we are considering transferring our business and animals elsewhere. Does Dr.Wulf know how her clients are being treated? I understand they get busy, but that is no excuse to treat people so shabby or made to feel stupid.
