I am very disappointed with my experience here. I brought my Lovebirds in for an appointment for one of them who was losing his feathers and acting strange. The vet wasn't sure of the cause of this so prescribed an antibiotic and a probiotic and also did a gram stain, which was done by collecting droppings in their cage. The problem with that is, we don't know which bird did the dropping that she collected. If I had known that the test was $170, I might have asked to try something else. I honestly don't have a problem with the doctor not being sure of what ails my bird, or an issue with testing to see if we can find a definitive cause but what really gave me pause was when I asked her if she could quickly look at my other bird's wing because he suddenly couldn't fly. She said she didn't have time and I said I would pay if she could quickly take a look. After finishing up with my ailing bird she agreed to look. She took him out of the cage and felt his wings and said nothing appears broken and it could be nerve damage and offered a few options but wasn't sure of the outcome, which I understood. I left there owing close to $450, an extra nearly $85 for my second bird to be looked at for no more than 5 minutes. I realize I did not have an appointment for my second bird and I agreed to pay if she would take a look at him, but whatever happened to giving people a break in these hard times? You can almost understand why so many animals are left untreated. People simply can't afford the costs. Everything is business. Seems like the days of helping one another are gone......

We've been clients of SVH for a couple of years now, and we couldn't be more satisfied with their exceptional care. The level of thoroughness and communication demonstrated by the doctors and staff is truly commendable. Our newest pup, who is now 11 months old, actually looks forward to visiting the vet and excitedly rushes to the door every time we have an appointment. This speaks volumes about the welcoming atmosphere created by the SVH team. We've encountered a few minor health issues with both of our dogs along the way, which naturally caused us some concern. However, the care and thoroughness exhibited by the entire staff at SVH consistently put our minds at ease. As someone who has had animals their entire life, I can confidently assert that SVH is the best veterinary clinic I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Our heartfelt thanks go out to the entire staff at SVH. You not only make us happy but also bring joy and comfort to our beloved pups. Keep up the fantastic work!

I now take both my yellow labs to them. They are a well run professional Vet. I have now seen both Brockett doctors and both are caring knowledgeable doctors with true empathy towards my dogs. I highly recommend Saratoga Veterinary Hospital to everyone.

This was our first visit. The vet really took time to get to know me and my dog. Both of us felt very comfortable and were in and out quickly.
