Dr. Star and his associates are professional and caring. Our corgi is terrified of veterinary visits, but they go above and beyond to accommodate us and make her as comfortable as possible and get the job done. The doctor takes his time to clearly explain everything about the vaccines and tests and never pushes extra tests or treatments. They truly care about the animals and their owners.

I cannot recommend Saint James Animal Hospital and Dr. Star enough! From the moment we walked in, my fluffy Australian Shepherd puppy, Luna, was treated with the utmost care and compassion. The entire staff is warm, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made me feel immediately at ease. Dr. Star went above and beyond to ensure Luna’s health and happiness. They took the time to thoroughly examine her, answer all my questions, and provide detailed advice on how to care for her as she grows. Luna can be a little shy, but Dr. Star’s gentle and kind approach won her over instantly—her tail was wagging the whole time! The clinic is clean, organized, and welcoming, which made me confident Luna was in the best hands! The team’s genuine love for animals and their dedication to providing excellent care truly sets this place apart. Thank you, Saint James Animal Hospital and Dr. Star, for treating Luna like family. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Star and the care he provides for my dog, Tulip. From the very first visit, Dr. Star has been incredibly attentive, compassionate, and thorough with Tulip’s health. He takes the time to explain everything clearly, ensuring I understand what’s happening with Tulip’s treatment and why it’s necessary. Tulip is an English Mastiff, and she is truly a big girl! Whether it’s routine check-ups or more serious concerns, I trust Dr. Star implicitly with Tulip’s care. I’m grateful for his professionalism, kindness, and the genuine love he shows toward animals. We have only recently joined the St James Animal Hospital practice, and we have been nothing but thrilled with the care that our family has received! The staff is warm and supportive, going over and above to help with anything we need. Dr. Star is the perfect combination of professional and personal. He is thorough and generous with his knowledge, and is so incredible with our dogs. They absolutely love him! The 24 hour emergency number that he provides as a part of his practice is a bonus that we have never received from any other vet we have worked with. We highly suggest bringing your animals to St. James!
