How to Save on Veterinary Costs at Vetco Vaccination Clinic
Preventive care
Routine wellness exams can help identify health issues early, often before they become more serious or expensive to treat. Regular checkups are one of the most effective ways to manage long term veterinary costs.
Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I'm giving them three stars, because my cat was microchipped there almost 3 years ago and they were friendly. But I went in there yesterday to look around for stuff for my cat, but first I asked someone a question at the Vetco Department, and the woman seemed a little nasty. And I know myself. I could get nasty right back, but I was in a hurry and I still had to shop so I didn't feel like starting s*** I said excuse me can I ask you a question and she looked up for her phone and gave me this like nasty look like she didn't want to be bothered and I could have sworn she said "what.' So I asked my question about delectable treats and if they were harmful for cats because I heard about that. She works in a vetco that's in a Petco and she never heard of Delectables and then I told hee it was a squeeze up cat treat and she nastily said, "like I said, I don't know what Delectables are." She's lucky I wasn't nasty back and I wasn't in the mood to be. I ended up not even getting anything at Petco because they're way overpriced too and it had anything that interested me. I was looking for stuff for my cat for his Gotcha Day next Saturday. Actually I wanted a jar of churos, but they didn't have those and the small pack was more money than stop and shop. So this woman needs to check her attitude and I'm sorry that I disturbed her while she was on her phone 🙄

Vetco on Metropolitan Avenue treated my baby girl Bella like a queen. They understood her needs and vaccinated her in the most gentle manner she didn’t chance to flinch. They also gave me suggestion on what to do for treating tge reoccurring yeast in ears. Thank you Vetco.

I visited this vaccination clinic for my dog to get a flu shot. I was really impressed with the professionalism. My dog actually goes to Petsmart. However, I was unable to get an appointment soon enough. I am so grateful for the care my dog received here. I would definitely recommend this place.

Check in was quick and simple. Bring your med records to expedite the process. Vet and vet tech made the experience transparent and seamless. My dog didn't seem to feel any discomfort nor was she stressed out by the experience. Vet and tech were very clear with what they were planning on doing as well as everything to watch out for in the coming hours post vaccination. Overall, will definitely go back in the future.
