My wife brought in our 14 1/2 year old mixed breed in for an evaluation. Our dog had been throwing up and was having diarrhea. We gave the vet a history of our dog ingesting inorganic material ( wall to wall carpeting) one day prior to his symptoms starting. She “examined” the dog and suggested we get an echo of his heart because of “murmur” she heard, order blood tests and suggest a battery of unrelated tests to his symptoms. We spent over $1,000 and not even a mention of maybe what he ate was causing his symptoms. No suggestion of an abdominal xray or ultrasound? Our poor dog suffered for a week with the same symptoms. We had him on probiotics and antibiotics and were about to euthanize him until one night while I was sitting with him he finally vomited a huge half digest mass of carpeting. I managed to pull most of it out of his mouth. But it was stuck in his throat. We are on our way to the animal hospital to address this but I had to share how incompetent and worthless these people are.

We brought our kitty Jacki in today for her first physical exam at VCA. We had taken her to another vet in our city and were a bit put off by their lack of professionalism. However, this time, we were touched by the care and knowledge of Dr. Cardin and attentiveness of Nurse Akane. My partner and I both agreed that it was evident that Jacki was in good hands, indicated in the thoroughness of the exam and cat-friendliness of the examination room. It was a positively different experience by bounds for us and our baby. We even left with a first-time patient goodie bag of kibble, toys, and other cat-related goods! Professional, caring, informative, and genuine. The staff at VCA has all the qualities any pet parent would want for their baby. Highly recommend! Thank you Dr. Cardin and Nurse Akane.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the poor customer service I’ve experienced at your location. On 1/16, I confirmed a morning appointment for 1/20 and promptly sent my pet's medical records via email the same day. However, on 1/18, I received a text requesting the same records, even though they had already been provided. To make matters worse, on 1/19 at 5:30 PM, I received a voicemail notifying me that my confirmed appointment would be canceled and can be rescheduled to 5:30 PM on 1/20 or another day . This lack of organization and communication is both unprofessional and unreliable. I do not feel confident bringing my pet to your facility and strongly advise others to consider alternative options. Thank you

I brought my dog Pico there today for the first time and despite her being sick, the whole staff - front desk ladies, the male nurse and the veterinarian - and my whole experience was lovely. They were all so kind, patient and professional! I highly recommend!

Had a wonderful experience here. I’m a first time pet owner and just got my new dog. I was taking him to his first vet appointment and there were definitely nerves on both ends. The front office and assistants were incredible. They greeted my pup with such enthusiasm. The vet was super professional, courteous, and my dog fell in love with him immediately. They gave me a thorough explanation of my dogs history and helped me understand my options. It was my first time so the visit was free! Would definitely recommend them for vet care.
