ABC Animal Hospital

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Tufaro and this clinic. I have been bringing my two cats here for years. He always provides thorough examinations and answers all my questions. He is conservative in his recommendations, and I've noticed that he always starts with the least invasive, least expensive option. He let's you know when he thinks if something is necessary vs recommended vs optional, and I've never once felt guilted into something. He calls back promptly and takes time to explain test results. His staff is also lovely, professional, and very good with how they treat my cats. Take your pets here!

Dr. Tufaro has been treating my pug since he was a wee puppy and recently diagnosed him with a splenic tumor and saved his life through surgery. Everyone who works here was so kind to my little guy. I used to live down the block from this vet which is why I started seeing them, and now I live in Brooklyn, but I will always take my pets here.

I did not have a good experience with ABC Animal Hospital. I filled out their online booking form, and they emailed me from a no-reply email to ask me to confirm a different appointment time than the one I booked. Then, when I called to ask them how I could confirm, they didn’t pick up until I tried them a few times. Then, the woman on the phone let me know they’d send me an email confirmation, which they did not do. So then I had to find their real email, email them, and ask for my appointment confirmation. I came here to get a rabies vaccination for my cat, and I had let them know an exam was not necessary as my cat had one two months ago. Then as I checked out for the vaccine, they upcharged me for an annual exam visit as well. Neither the vet assistant nor the vet told me this would be a charge when I brought up the prior exam. When I asked the woman at the front desk about this, she rolled her eyes at me. I asked for the vet or vet assistant, who then told me that everytime a vaccination is done, an exam fee is also charged. That would’ve been nice for them to tell me when I asked! This place runs a scammy business and I’m just very disappointed that I came out of my way to go to this local vet over the more organized but corporate ones nearby. Also, they offered me an email invoice, which I still have not even received. Edit: They sent me the invoice after I called but they sent me someone else’s rabies vaccine certificate. Just very unprofessional.

They treated our smokey boy so great' LITERALLY the office staff worked quickly to get us in and out and the staff were so kind and patient. I recommend their office if you LOVE your pet because they do too. Thank you ABC Animal HOSPITAL smokey is doing great a month later.. 👍 👏 🙌 💛😻 🐈‍⬛️ 😺 ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗💛 ❤️ 💙

I love the hospital l don't have any complain about the place he save the life of my cats a few time nobody is perfect only God and somerime some people don't want to andestand he is a doctor not God l know he will do the for your pets but if the time came no body cant save ours pets but all my famaly love rhe place and him we came from the bronx thru him in the from there are so many clinic but if l have to take a taxi or what ever to came to the placel not think two time to came l have 14 cats all of them are in great condiction the eay he check or examine ours cats is great for me and my famaly the best place and rhe best doctor we say in spanish we not the candy of the months and flavor everyone have to like it me not complain at all l hope he will be there and alive for more that one hundred years to continue taken care my pets rhanks alot God bless you place you and all your famaly and staff who are working there🙏🏻🙏🏻
